Warriors eliminated from Play-In Tournament after loss to Kings

Golden State's season ends with a disappointing defeat

Sacramento advances to face Memphis in the first round of the playoffs

The Golden State Warriors' season came to an end on Friday night with a 118-94 loss to the Sacramento Kings in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament. The ninth-seeded Kings dominated from start to finish, leading by as many as 29 points in the second half.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 27 points, but he was the only Golden State player to score in double figures. The Kings, meanwhile, had six players score in double figures, led by De'Aaron Fox's 22 points.

The loss marked the end of a disappointing season for the Warriors, who were expected to contend for a championship after winning the title in 2022. However, injuries and poor play plagued Golden State all season long, and they finished the regular season with a 32-50 record.

The Kings, on the other hand, are moving on to the first round of the playoffs, where they will face the Memphis Grizzlies. Sacramento has been one of the most surprising teams in the NBA this season, and they will be looking to make a deep run in the playoffs.
