Warriors Injury Updates
Draymond Green and Klay Thompson Battling Injuries
Stephen Curry Cleared to Play
The Golden State Warriors are set to face the Utah Jazz on Sunday, and the injury report is starting to clear up. Stephen Curry, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury, is not on the injury report and is expected to play.
However, Draymond Green (calf) and Klay Thompson (knee) are both listed as questionable. Green has missed the last four games with a calf injury, while Thompson has missed the last two games with a knee injury.
The Warriors are hopeful that both Green and Thompson will be able to play on Sunday, but they will likely be game-time decisions. If either player is unable to go, it will be a big blow to the Warriors, who are already without Andre Iguodala (hip) and James Wiseman (knee).
The Warriors are coming off a 129-128 overtime loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. Curry led the way with 34 points, while Thompson added 27 points. Green had 10 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists before leaving the game with his calf injury.
The Jazz are coming off a 117-111 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday. Lauri Markkanen led the way with 28 points, while Jordan Clarkson added 23 points.
The Warriors will be looking to bounce back from their loss to the Grizzlies and improve to 22-23 on the season. The Jazz are 23-26 on the season and are looking to win their third straight game.
